Starting out on GitHub to create a portfolio

Abstract We seek here to give an accurate and practical description of a portfolio-based evaluation system we have just instituted. But we can be more accurate and practical if we avoid giving a static picture and instead suggest the inevitable historical flux: the experiments that preceded this system and the countless opportunities for modification in the future.
