Summer break is over, but a new season full of exciting news is just about to begin. There is therefore no time for letting nostalgia set in, and the @TwoSuspects-music have the perfect surprise to get us all back on track : the full recording of their live-set, captured last year during their closing at the mighty Contrast - Rave Line ! Among the hybrid curiosities that have emerged within the electronic landscape in recent years, Two-Suspects’ futuristic universe is undoubtedly one of the most promising and captivating. Attracted by antagonistic scenes and always hungry for new production techniques, it was by crossing their trance and acidcore backgrounds that they shaped a style of their own. An over-technological and hostile world, where shamanic acid lines and psy-organic sounds just perfectly melt on the dancefloor. After a year playing dystopian rave-like performances around the hexagon, they’re now back full time at the studio to prepare the new ones to come. Drawing the best pieces from acidcore, tribe or hardcore, each thundering element joins forces and finds its place in an unstoppable timeline where efficiency rhymes with unpredictability. @Ciuciek is taking control of our eighth podcast with 60 minutes of pounding acid techno straight from Poland! Native of Tricity in the northern part of the country, it’s in the late 90s while the raves were fully booming in the former bunker of Gdansk that he has been caught of passion for the underground scene and its frenetic sound. A passion that we can obviously find in his unique acid style today, whose incredible energy could set fire to any reluctant dancefloor. With massive releases on flagship labels of the acid UK movement such as Stay Up Forever, System Rejects and a lot more, he has definitely made his mark as one of the most exciting artists of the polish electronic scene. Since her first love for piano to the heavy grooves she now generously deploys behind the decks, it seems that the french artist takes delight in cultivating fertile metamorphoses - just like her stage name, the addition of a long-standing male nickname and a tribute to the first female cosmonaut. From Normandy and Rennes by adoption, she has quickly made her place among the scene through a strong taste for cathartic sounds. By cathartic, we mean the most extreme flavors that can be found in the rave musical spectrum, from 90’s acid, trance, hardstyle, hardcore, to all other forbidden territories. A straight-to-the-floor yet fine selection of bangers, so satisfying and brilliantly mixed that she brings out - beyond the violence - all the poetry of brutality. Today’s mix is no exception.
