Remote Management of Patients With Heart Failure in Medically Underserved Areas.

Medically underserved areas (MUAs) are associated with higher rates of hospitalizations and mortality. Although structured remote management (RM) programs demonstrated clinical benefits, their effectiveness in MUAs in Europe remains scarcely investigated.

Saline vs Contrast for Optical Coherence Tomography During Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Prospective Multicenter Study.

OCT improves PCI outcomes compared with angiography alone but requires contrast to displace blood for image acquisition. In patients at risk of contrast-induced nephropathy, minimizing contrast use is clinically important.

A Deep Learning Framework for Automated Triage of Breast Cancer Biopsies in Malaysia: A Simulation Study to Reduce Resource Consumption and Diagnostic Turnaround Time.

Breast cancer is a major health burden in Malaysia, where a shortage of pathologists causes long diagnostic delays, patient anxiety, and late treatment. Conventional histopathology workflows use a first-in-first-out (FIFO) system, which is inefficient since most biopsies are benign. This simulation-based study developed and validated a deep learning triage system to prioritize suspicious breast biopsy cases for pathologist review.

Dual Antitumor Effects of Solanum incanum L. in Lung and Colonic Adenocarcinomas via TRAIL-Mediated Extrinsic Apoptotic Pathway: A Network Pharmacology and Multi-Omics Investigation.

Solanum incanum L. (S. incanum) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) known for its heat-clearing and detoxifying properties. This study evaluates the anti-cancer potential of S. incanum in lung and colorectal adenocarcinoma. Also, we aim to confirm the connection between the lung and the large intestine, as proposed in TCM theory.

Utility of Regional Cerebral Blood Flow SPECT and MRI for Predicting Amyloid Deposition in Real-World Clinical Settings.

With the advent of disease-modifying therapies for Alzheimer's disease, there is a growing demand for more cost-effective methods that predict amyloid PET positivity. In Japan, the combination of structural brain MRI and regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) single-photon emission computed tomography (rCBF SPECT) is routinely used in clinical practice for neuroimaging. The present study investigated the utility of this imaging approach for amyloid PET positivity in real-world clinical settings.
