Power Nev - 雷米克斯

This article summarizes the work presented at the workshop 'The Power of Faraday Tomography: towards 3D mapping of cosmic magnetic fields', held in Miyazaki, Japan, in Spring 2018. We place the various oral and poster presentations given at the workshop in a broader perspective and present some highlight results from every presenter.

This paper shows analyses of the four-wire distribution systems with special attention to the power flow solution when considering the neutral conductor and grounding. Their impacts are investigated on the unbalanced neutral to earth voltage test feeder for different levels of loading.

Particle accelerators use a great variety of power converters for energizing their sub-systems; while the total number of power converters usually depends on the size of the accelerator or combination of accelerators (including the experimental setup), the characteristics of power converters depend on their loads and on the particle physics requirements: this paper aims to provide an overview of the magnet power converters in use in several facilities worldwide.
