Metrics Server is a scalable, efficient source of container resource metrics for Kubernetes built-in autoscaling pipelines. It collects resource metrics from Kubelets and exposes them in Kubernetes apiserver through Metrics API for use by Horizontal Pod Autoscaler and Vertical Pod Autoscaler.

The AWS EFS CSI driver provides Container Storage Interface (CSI) support for Amazon EFS file systems in Kubernetes clusters. It enables dynamic and static provisioning of EFS volumes.

The Target Allocator (TA) is an optional component of the OpenTelemetry Operator that discovers Prometheus targets and shards them across a fleet of OpenTelemetry Collector instances. It provides HTTP endpoints that Collectors use to fetch their assigned scrape targets (e.g. /jobs, /jobs/{job}/targets, /scrape_configs) and supports config-file and CR-based discovery.
