At-rules are CSS statements that instruct CSS how to behave. They begin with an at-sign, @ (U+0040 COMMERCIAL AT), followed by an identifier. They include everything from the at-keyword up to the next semicolon, ; (U+003B SEMICOLON), or the next CSS block, whichever comes first.

The syntax descriptor of the @property at-rule defines the allowed value types for the registered CSS custom property. It controls how the property's specified value is processed to derive the computed value. It is a required descriptor; if missing or invalid, the entire @property rule is invalid and ignored.

At-rules are CSS statements that instruct CSS how to behave. The CSS syntax module describes, in general terms, the structure and syntax of cascading stylesheets, or CSS. It defines CSS as the language for describing the rendering of structured documents (such as HTML and XML), on the web and elsewhere.
